Baylee Nicole Band Auditions

Hey y’all! It’s Baylee Nicole!

Auditions for my band are now open!

Up ’til now, my producer and his pros with the label have served as my band. We are now opening up auditions to slowly replace each band member with a permanent / long term band member.

I’m looking for people serious about doing this for a career and joining me on this journey. I have a ton of new original music in the works and I need fun people who are also skilled to do something serious with me!

Me and my team are focused on finding the right long term people. HOWEVER, I have an immediate need. I am auditioning for and gonna make a serious run at winning the :

LIVE NATION – “STOCKYARDS SHOWDOWN”

– the search for the Next High School Country Star

Important Event requirements :

  • Shoot Live Video for audition - Sun, 10/4/26
  • Video audition deadline - Wed, 10/7/26
  • Semi Finals : January 16 + 23, 2027
  • Finals : February 6, 2027
  • 50% of band must be in high school
  • 100% of band must be 21 or under
  • All of band from North Texas counties

You DO NOT have to be eligible for this event to become a long term band member. We’re going to pick the best possible that are eligible for the event BUT pick the best fit overall for my permanent band members.

DEADLINE :

– Stockyards Showdown

AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE! We will pick the very first person for each slot that fits the minimum standard so GET YOUR AUDITION IN FAST!! We MUST pick the personnel for the event by the end of September so we can get in two rehearsals before the capture of the video on October 4.

– Long Term Baylee Nicole Band

As soon as possible but the absolute deadline is 2 years from now when I turn 18. I am constantly doing gigs, so we will slowly replace my label’s pro musicians with permanent band members as we find the right person for each spot. (Hey, there’s also opportunities to play for other artists with my label)

The sooner the better! Hopefully, someone who participates in the Stockyards Showdown event will also be a good long term fit but we won’t settle for less than “the right fit” for the permanent long term band members.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
FOR ALL BAND MEMBERS :

– All positions are paid positions contracted with KétÇ’s Entertainment in Keller, Texas
  • Ages 14 ish TO mid / late 20s ish
  • Play accurately to a click track
  • have country music artist vibe / fashion
  • rehearse / perform with IN EAR monitors
  • Live within driving distance of Keller, Texas
  • Learn parts by ear from given recordings
  • Play parts exactly how my Producer dictates
  • the ability to learn songs VERY quickly
  • Dress to match my established brand
  • Strong performance presence
  • adaptability to my Music Director's ways

BACKUP VOCALS

– The ideal candidate will have :
  • all general requirements listed above
  • the skill to match my country twang
  • a strong sense of pitch and rhythm
  • strong country harmonies
  • skill to sing lead; maturity to sing backup

LEAD ELECTRIC GUITAR

– The ideal candidate will have :
  • all general requirements listed above
  • a VERY strong sense of rhythm
  • a Fender Stratocaster style guitar
  • comfort with no amps on stage
  • multi fx such as Line 6 Helix, Quad Cortex, etc
  • IF NOT : a willingness to use our Line 6 setup
  • OR : run your own pedal board thru our Line 6
  • the skill to match guitar tones to a recording
  • basic knowledge of Nashville number system

RHYTHM ELECTRIC / ACOUSTIC GUITAR

– The ideal candidate will have :
  • all general requirements listed above
  • equal comfort playing electric and acoustic
  • a Fender Telecaster style electric guitar
  • a high quality acoustic guitar with pickup
  • comfort NOT using amps on stage
  • multi FX such as Line 6, Quad Cortex, etc
  • IF NOT : willingness to play our Line 6
  • OR : run your own pedal board thru our Line 6
  • a VERY strong sense of pitch and rhythm
  • a VERY strong ability to lock in with drums
  • the skill to match guitar tones to a recording
  • basic knowledge of Nashville number system
– The ideal candidate will ALSO sing Backup
– This position will perform extra gigs with Baylee playing acoustic guitar for small venue Acoustic gigs

BASS GUITAR

– The ideal candidate will have :

  • a bass guitar that looks and sounds country
  • comfort with no amps on stage
  • multi fx such as Line 6, Quad Cortex, etc
  • IF NOT : willingness to use our Line 6
  • a VERY strong ability to lock in with drums
  • basic knowledge of Nashville number system

– The ideal candidate will have :

  • incredible accuracy playing to a click track
  • the ability to play venue appropriate volumes
  • comfort playing a 4 piece kit
  • a willingness to adapt to my drum set up
  • a willingness to use our drums
  • the ability to learn/play my songs exactly as is
  • the ability to set up drums very quickly
– The ideal candidate will ALSO play Cajon for Baylee for Acoustic gigs
